The Irish Health Care System Of Abuse

I've not been very well for the last three weeks or so and while reports of my demise may be a bit premature it's not by much. OK..that's bollocks actually..yeah,I'm still sick and not feeling very inspired right now but I have nothing to worry about compared to this.

I will never complain about the US health care system again after reading this.I can't begin to imagine the suffering this woman and her family are going through right now. This is criminal neglect and abuse on a staggering scale.I was going to say that the worst part of it was how the Irish health care disaster was completely preventable but I'd be an awful arse to.

No,I think we all know what the worst part of this is.

Look after yourself A.L.,I'll be thinking about you.

Thanks much Devin!

Yup - what I wouldn't give to be back in the US right now. $20 co-pay and this would have been sorted within a week! *SIGH*

Savannah,
Thanks love.I feel like a right fool for making such a big deal of my sniffles. My heart goes out to A.L. and her family.

A.L.
You're in my thoughts love.Any way you could sneak over and get it done out of pocket?

That is outrageous.

Problem is, Irish people are great at complaining on their bar stools but they won't actually get up of their arses and set things on fire to get attention.

A Swedish minister resigned a few years ago because she had paid for chocolare, diapers and cigarettes on a charge card which was intended only for offical expenses - even though she had paid the money back. Not only does the excuse for a human-being presiding over our health service refuse to resign, she refuses to admit anything is wrong and looks like she can't understand why everybody wants her to do something about this mess.

Sometimes one doesn't feel like posting and that's OK. Do what comes naturally and if I don't see you before, have a good Christmas and a happy healthy 2008.

Nail on the head.Too lazy, too complacent and too afraid to do anything other than bleat ineffectively and vote the swine back in.The people shouldn't fear the government. The government should fear the people.

I seriously think the Minister for Hell-th should be criminally prosecuted for her part in the needless deaths and pointless suffering.

Pat,
Thank you love.Merry Christmas and all the best for 2008 to you as well.

I'll be back in the saddle later today.Soon enough inspiration comes along like it did with me today.More later.
