Books ! Coffee ! Democracy!

So would anyone care to buy a share in my boy Sander's adventure* in Brooklyn? Hit the link and watch the short video.

There are still some available and the situation has improved since the CNN interview. I have impeccable sources.

Communal capitalism......you gotta love it.

* He's the kind of bloke that can make a trip to the dentist an adventure. Trust me.

I love to hear of someone who is savvy enough to give the people what they want.

Fantastic idea & I wish it every success, which I'm sure they'll get!
If only the Sandpit would have something like that........I mean, what's wrong with good friends, enjoying conversation or reading a book, whilst drinking great coffee & munching on a bacon butty?

Good morning Hangar Queen,

I come to your blog by way of Savannah. I enjoyed the CNN clip on VOX; a creative way to preserve something the people value in the community.

I think it's a great idea to have a place where diverse people can get together and communicate!

Map,
For all it's size NYC is very, very neighbourhoody. The people there love their local bars, diners, coffeeshops and assorted dives.

Savannah,
It really is a bit brilliant.Sander joined us on a recent camping trip and leaked energy and creativity all over the place. Mops were needed.

Pat,
A simple equation that is often overlooked in the grasp for profits. I really hope Vox Pop pulls through.

Jayne,
Ooooh. I can just see Sander et al setting up shop in the Sandpit and being deported after about 10 minutes.I think the political leanings to be found in Vox Pop would go down like a rum soaked ham sandwich over there.

U,
Good evening and thank you for stopping by. Fingers crosses they'll be able to make a go of it. Somehow I get the feeling they will.

Sniffle,
Gee.You guys sure spell funny. Are you Canadian or something?
You'd love Sander. Guaranteed.
